Iranian Regime Change Discussion

During a recent appearance on FNC’s “Hornity,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich expressed his belief that President Donald Trump is positioned to effectively challenge the long-standing Iranian regime.

Gingrich emphasized that, alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, they could “decisively” alter the trajectory of history.

“That’s evident. In many respects, he’s given them the chance to escape their inevitable demise,” host Sean Hannity remarked. “Can we really believe that in a short time the Israelis will have such control? Do they control the radio waves and skies over Iran? They could inflict significant damage repeatedly. The pressing question is whether the U.S. will deploy Bunker Busters against the Fordow facility.”

“Well, when historians reflect on this, will they say, ‘Donald Trump truly made an impact?'” Gingrich pondered. “Consider this—Ayatollah Khomeini first labeled us as the great Satan back in 1978. The Iranian public started chanting ‘death to America’ in 1979 when the U.S. embassy was taken. And Margaret Thatcher believed he would dismantle the regime.”

“This man demonstrates courage. He has insight and adheres to logic. If the objective is to prevent a nuclear Iran, halting the Mullah’s influence is essential. It’s a matter of safety.”
