Zionist Agency Commends Trump’s Action Against Iran
The Zionist Organization of America (ZoA), the longest-standing pro-Israel group in the U.S., expressed gratitude to President Donald Trump for targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities over the weekend, stating that this move enhances the safety of both Israel and the Arab nations.
ZoA also recognized Secretary of Defense Marco Rubio and the U.S. Secretary of State for their roles in this military action alongside Israeli defense officials.
In a statement, Mort Klein, president of ZoA, suggested that Trump’s decision has increased security for Israel, the West, and “many in the Arab world.” Klein emphasized, “President Trump made the right decision to destroy Iran’s heavily fortified nuclear sites in Natanz and Esfahan. This courageous and historic action by the U.S. military translates to greater safety for the U.S., Israel, and the entire globe.”
He went on to thank Trump and the military for fulfilling the President’s commitment to “make America safe again.” Klein noted the ongoing threat posed by the Iranian regime, which has opposed the U.S. since the U.S. embassy hostage crisis in 1979. He pointed out that Iran and its affiliates have been responsible for numerous American fatalities and are major sponsors of Islamic terrorism.
According to Klein, Iran was close to acquiring several nuclear weapons capable of causing mass destruction in nations they deem as “Big Satan” (the U.S.) and “Little Satan” (Israel). “Even without Israel’s existence, the U.S. needed to take this action for its own protection,” he added.
ZoA also took pride in lobbying lawmakers the previous Thursday, where they advocated for military actions to safeguard America and its allies against Iranian threats. Klein mentioned hosting 25 members of Congress at a Capitol Hill lunch to further press for military measures against Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
The organization stood out as one of the few Jewish groups to commend Trump for his first-term accomplishments, especially as other Jewish leaders maintained silence or expressed dissent, with some institutions alleging that Trump tolerated anti-Semitism. Klein argued that Trump’s approach has reaffirmed ZoA’s faith in him.
