Social Media Influencer 'Liver King' Taken into Custody for 'Terroristic Threat' Following Trip to Austin to Challenge Joe Rogan

River King Arrested in Austin

Social media personality River King, also known as Brian Johnson, was taken into custody on Tuesday in Austin, Texas.

Johnson, originally from Houston and known for his unusual lifestyle, which prominently features raw meat consumption, is facing a Class B misdemeanor charge. This arrest came after he allegedly traveled to Austin in search of Logan.

The Austin Police Department arrested Johnson at the Four Seasons Hotel around 6 PM after he made what appeared to be a threat towards Joe Rogan on his Instagram account.

Videos on Johnson’s Instagram, which has a following of 2.9 million, showed him being restrained by officers before being placed into a police vehicle.

Reportedly, the detective reached out to Logan, stating he had never interacted with Johnson but found the post threatening.

Johnson’s Instagram account showcases numerous videos featuring various influencers. In the second episode of the Netflix series It’s Immeasurable, titled King of the Liver, he continues with a string of bizarre rants regarding Logan.

In a video posted Monday, Johnson stated, “Joe Rogan, I’m calling you. My name is King of the Liver. From man to man, I’m choosing to fight you.”

He went further to mention, “I’m not training in jiu-jitsu. You’re a black belt. You should dismantle me. But I’m choosing to fight you. Your rules, whatever you want to weigh me, I’ll weigh it.”

In another clip, he seemed to carry items related to Logan and mentioned, “Joe Rogan, that’s how you do that in Texas. We’re coming to Austin,” expressing his intention to confront Logan.

In one segment, he tells Logan, “I’m coming to you. I’ve challenged you. We don’t need to make videos—the world will make videos for us.”

Johnson expresses strong feelings about fighting Logan, declaring, “You don’t need to have a camera. You can hold the hand of someone you love because… you will need more than what you did to give something to fight.”

He adds that he’s prepared to die for his family, claiming, “You’re a black belt, but you’ve never come across anything like this.” He further remarks, “I weigh 177 pounds. I’m an actual savage guy.”

Johnson’s followers reacted with confusion, some questioning his state of mind and the chaotic nature of his rants. They expressed concern over the ongoing situation.

Despite the seriousness of the claims, Johnson insists he didn’t threaten anyone, claiming his issue was purely “principles” and “family.” He even stated, “I don’t want it to happen, so I hope this isn’t perceived as a threat.”

His recent rants and videos remain accessible on social media, raising eyebrows about the underlying motives behind his confrontations.

As the situation unfolds, Johnson has been accused of making a “terrorist threat” towards Logan amidst his perplexing statements. Additionally, he has faced scrutiny due to past revelations regarding steroid use, contradicting his claims of a natural physique derived from his lifestyle.

Logan responded critically to Johnson’s claims, emphasizing the unrealism of his physique at his age, stating, “There’s no way for him to look like that in his 40s.” He openly admitted to using testosterone, drawing a contrast to Johnson’s misleading assertions.
