AJ Dillon shares thoughts on meeting Trump at the rally

The Philadelphia Eagles were present at a rally in Wisconsin for Donald Trump back in October, during his campaign for the presidency as a Republican candidate. Trump gave a special shout-out to Dillon, who, interestingly enough, also received attention alongside the Green Bay Packers.

Dillon commented on the experience, mentioning, “You might know the name AJ Dillon, who is Quadzilla’s father. I got to meet him behind the scenes. I’m healthy and feeling good.” Reflecting on the event, he described it as a “cool experience,” adding that it was his first time meeting a president. He noted, “Regardless of your political views, it’s still a pretty cool moment.” Dillon had never met Brett Favre either, which makes this encounter even more unique.

As for his teammates, Dillon echoed sentiments from Saquon Barkley. Before the Eagles’ visit to Trump at the White House, Barkley had played golf with him, prompting some mixed reactions. He said, “Some people are really upset. I respect the office; it’s not that hard to understand. I’ve played golf with Obama, and I’m looking forward to finishing my round with Trump!”

Meanwhile, Hulk Hogan and Danica Patrick were also in attendance at the rally, part of a series of events that showcased Trump’s support in key swing states he won to secure his second presidential term. Brett Favre, the legendary quarterback, spoke at this rally as well, describing Trump and his team as “winners.”
