Australian reality star Tamika Sueann-Rose Chesser accused of murdering her decapitated boyfriend

An Australian reality TV star has been arrested for allegedly decapitating her boyfriend. Authorities are actively searching for ways to provide closure to his family.

Tamika Sueann-Rose Chesser, 34, a former contestant on Beauty and the Geek Australia, faces a murder charge after police discovered the burnt and disfigured body of 39-year-old Julian Story inside his Port Lincoln apartment just two days after the incident.

Officers found the gruesome scene on June 17 while responding to reports of a small fire at the location.

“It’s tragic to report that we have yet to recover Julian’s head,” said Detective Director Darren Fierke during a press conference. “Just think about the anguish this news brings to his family. Our priority is to locate Julian’s head, so they can lay him to rest and have a proper funeral.”

Police have also released surveillance footage showcasing a woman, believed to be Chesser, dressed in all black, walking through the city with three dogs shortly after the crime.

The footage, though unclear, has raised concern—showing a figure capturing the police’s attention in connection to the murder.

“I urge local residents to check any CCTV or dashcam footage that could aid our investigation,” Fierke added.

Reports suggest Chesser was found “catatonic and unresponsive” in the backyard of the crime scene, according to court documents obtained by media outlets.

In addition to the murder charge, she faces allegations of disposing of a human body and assaulting a police officer.

“This isn’t who she is,” expressed Chesser’s sister, Kiyame, to Daily Mail Australia, mentioning that Tamika has endured a “life of trauma and abuse” that impacted her significantly.

Chesser, who was initially denied bail, is currently being held under a mental health detention order and is expected to appear in court for a commitment hearing in December.
