The federal trial involving Sean “Diddy” Combs took a surprising and intense twist on Wednesday when several spectators began to experience seizures in the courtroom, prompting one of his lawyers to step in.
According to Page 6, after Combs’ bail request was submitted later that day, members of the public suddenly collapsed and convulsed on the 26th floor of the Manhattan Federal Court.
Witnesses reported that individuals were “slamming their heads repeatedly against the marble floor, with blood and vomit coming from their mouths.”
Mark Agnifilo, who serves as Combs’ lead attorney, was present during the emergency situation.
His partner, Jacob Kaplan, reportedly rushed to help an unknown individual by stabilizing his head on the ground and using his backpack for support.
Agnifilo’s daughter, Sofia, who works as a paralegal and is related to Combs, took the man’s pulse, ensuring he could breathe while they awaited medical assistance.
Sources mentioned that Agnifilo positioned the man on his side to help with breathing. The individual was eventually taken out of the courtroom on a stretcher.
Outside the courtroom, cameras were set up, waiting for Agnifilo to speak about Combs’ trial verdict.
During the trial, Combs, 55, was found guilty of a transportation charge related to prostitution, though he was acquitted of more serious charges concerning sex trafficking and assault. He now faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for October 3rd.
Press cameras captured the scene, showing medical personnel transporting affected individuals on stretchers with flashing red lights visible near the courthouse doors.
It remains unclear the current condition of the unnamed individual who experienced the seizure.
After the incident, Agnifilo addressed the media, describing the outcome of the trial as a “big victory” for Combs, emphasizing that he avoided severe charges of sex trafficking and assault.
Upon concluding his statements, Agnifilo noted, “This is a big victory for Sean Combs. It’s a big victory for the jury system.”
Page Six reached out to Combs’ team for a comment regarding the situation, but no response was received.
