FBI Begins Inquiry into John Brennan, James Comey

FBI Investigates Former CIA and FBI Directors

The FBI has initiated an investigation concerning John Brennan, the former CIA Director, and James Comey, the ex-FBI Director. This investigation relates to President Donald Trump and the inquiries surrounding Russia’s involvement.

A source from the Department of Justice stated that CIA Director John Ratcliffe has presented evidence of Brennan’s alleged misconduct to FBI Director Kash Patel. According to this source, a criminal investigation into Brennan has indeed commenced.

Ratcliffe provided evidence of Brennan’s purported misconduct, suggesting the possibility of prosecution, as a DOJ source informed Fox News Digital. The investigation appears active, though specifics are sparse. It remains uncertain whether the inquiry includes Brennan’s questionable statements made to Congress.

Reports suggest that both Brennan and Comey are under criminal scrutiny. Brennan may face potential issues related to perjury. Ratcliffe has also unveiled an “Internal CIA Review of the Intelligence Community Assessment,” which relates to claims of Russia attempting to influence the elections, specifically regarding the 2016 presidential race and Hillary Clinton’s candidacy.

Matthew Boyle, from Breitbart News, shared this development:

Recently, Ratcliffe declassified an internal CIA review concerning what is referred to as the “Intelligence Community Assessment” regarding allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 election.

In a post on X, Ratcliffe commented, “This report emphasizes that the 2016 IC assessment was conducted via unusual and corrupt methods amidst a politically charged atmosphere involving former Directors Brennan and Comey.”

Fox News noted that while the overall scope of the criminal investigation into Brennan and Comey is unclear, two sources have characterized the FBI’s perspective of the Directors’ interactions as a “conspiracy.”
