Last July, a tragic incident in Butler, Pennsylvania, dramatically changed the lives of President Donald Trump’s family. During an event, a man named Larry fatally shot one attendee.

The second installment of “Butler: Under Fire,” titled “Search for Justice,” is currently available to stream. This marks the first anniversary of a very unsettling day that narrowly missed taking Trump’s life.

Helen Comperatore, who lost her husband Corey in the shooting, shared her experience, along with her daughter Allison, emphasizing the profound impact of that day.

“It was very difficult,” Helen reflected. “Sometimes it feels like just yesterday, other times it feels like a year has gone by. It really depends on the day.” She talked about her struggles with everyday life without Corey, who was a dedicated volunteer firefighter and a religious man. “Sometimes, I pretend he just went to work, that he’ll come home later. But he won’t,” she added.

“I’ve got pictures of him everywhere in the house,” she said. “I even carry his driver’s license in my wallet and wear his clothes.” Allison recounted the harrowing experience of witnessing her father being shot at the rally, recalling the moment he collapsed. “I felt him on me, and I thought, ‘Why is he so heavy?’ I turned to see him lying there, lifeless.”

She described the chaos—how she screamed and felt helpless, trying to stop the bleeding while everything around her moved in slow motion.

Part 2 of the special also features harrowing cell phone footage from Corey’s device, capturing moments before he was struck. The video ends with his cries and the chilling moment he falls to the ground. “Hearing your child scream like that is just torturous,” noted Helen.

The Butler County Emergency Services Unit met with Helen during the episode to answer her pressing questions about that fateful day. “They have a right to know the truth,” said Ed Lenz, the ESU Commander. “We’ve done this with their approval; it was really important to them.” Helen expressed a desire to gather more information about the incident, and when meeting the team, she found warmth in their support.

“For us, meeting her and showing support really matters,” said ESU member Michael Murko.

Lenz commented on the security failures at the rally, noting that Trump shouldn’t have had those risks at the event. “It’s concerning that a threat was known, and they still allowed him to proceed,” he noted.

New drone footage featured in “The Art of the Surge: Donald Trump’s Comeback” presents fresh visuals from the Butler Rally, showing the reactions of attendees and the moments of panic that ensued when shots were fired.

This series paints a picture of the stark realities and dangers Trump faced at that rally. “Being just 130 yards away feels incredibly close,” he remarked.

Fox Nation subscribers can look forward to enjoying “Butler Under Fire” and other related content, which covers Trump’s various initiatives during his second term.
