Police Look into Allegations of Trey Songz Assaulting Photographer

Investigation into Trey Songz Over Alleged Assault

Authorities are looking into an incident involving R&B singer Trey Songz, who has been accused of attacking photographer Isa Mansoor.

Mansoor stated that he was hired by the owner of the Ivy in Huntington, New York, to capture footage for a video involving Songz during an event. According to him, the conflict arose when fans began pressuring the singer for photos. He alleges that Songz reacted violently, punching him in the head and throwing him against a wall.

In a related post, a tweet from TMZ mentioned that the cameraman sustained serious injuries and had recently left the hospital.

Video footage released by TMZ appears to show a chaotic situation inside the club during the incident. Mansoor claimed that the altercation escalated when he was trying to take a final photo of Songz alongside the venue’s logo. He mentioned that two of his cameras were damaged during the confrontation.

Witnesses report that the venue owner attempted to intervene, telling Songz that Mansoor was “his man.” Allegedly, Songz responded by getting aggressive and verbally attacking the owner.

Mansoor managed to flee to a friend’s car while Songz left the venue. He reported the incident to the police, who confirmed they are investigating the claims. Later, Mansoor sought medical attention for his injuries and underwent a CT scan, along with an x-ray, as he described his condition to the media.

He was diagnosed with a concussion, migraines, and pain, for which he received medication.

As of now, Trey Songz has not made any public remarks regarding the incident.
