On Monday, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) expressed concerns during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Deadline,” stating that President Donald Trump has not fully released the documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, calling it “a danger to public health and safety.”
Raskin noted, “We are currently experiencing an extreme phase of conspiracy theories and hysteria surrounding this issue. Notably, Vice President Vance, President Vance, Pam Bondi, Dan Bongino, and Kash Patel have all pushed for the release of Epstein’s materials ahead of the election. This information is crucial for everyone in America, especially when the US president discusses it.”
He added, “It seems like Donald Trump is the one making these calls for some reason, and he claims he plans to release the information.”
“I think it’s quite irresponsible, especially given that it influences millions of people. I’ve raised significant concerns regarding law enforcement’s commitment to tackling child sexual abuse. The lack of a comprehensive list or the validity of what they do have is worrisome.”
