The NBA and other woke elites are cooked.
Recently, sports entertainment giant WWE held a “Saturday Night’s Main Event” television special on NBC, the first time in 16 years that the promotion has put on a “Main Event” show. With it being a Saturday night event, they were put up against the NBA Cup semi-finals between the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder that was carried on ABC.
Well, when Tuesday morning got here, the NBA claimed that they got the head-to-head win against WWE, with the league getting 1.89 million viewers and the professional wrestling company only getting 1.59 million in comparison. But there’s just one problem: It’s “cap” as the kids say. Or LIES in the words of the common folk. “Saturday Night’s Main Event” was broadcasted on NBC and streamed on Peacock, which tallied a live audience of 789,000. But when you crunch the numbers, it was WWE who walked away with the victory drawing 2.3 million compared to the 1.89 million that the league pulled in.
What the China-enabling NBA did is completely leave out the Peacock numbers, which is not how ratings are reported here in 2024. NBC does the same thing with the NFL with their “Sunday Night Football” program, for example, in terms of counting both live television and streaming numbers. And the viewership data for the Olympics was counted the same way.
In other words, the NBA is lying and lost to a FAKE sport, proving even more that the Left has lost culture — and now it’s just embarrassing.
The NBA is lying. WWE beat the NBA head to head in the ratings on Saturday.
As the NBA shifts further and further to the Left, WWE found a sweet spot staying apolitical.
