A social media celebrity launches his own sting operation to identify and arrest an alleged online criminal.

In his latest move, he pretended to be an underage boy, set up a meeting with a man, and then helped police subdue him in Long Beach, California.

Interviewed by KTLA-TV The man known as “Black Biden” on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

The video shows police confronting the target, chasing him as he tried to run away, and arresting him outside a Carl’s Jr. fast food restaurant. The suspect, identified as Cody Lane Oreiro, 41, of Hawthorne, was charged with arranging a meeting with a minor for lewd purposes and resisting a police officer.

The activist said the laws are not strict enough to catch predators.

“I caught over 156 men who tried to harm children,” he told KTLA. “And it’s only been a year. There are many convicts, but the law is still not strict enough for them.”

He said Oreiro believed he was meeting a 15-year-old boy at Carl’s Jr. In the video, the activist wears a red hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

At one point in the video, he yells at Oreiro, “Don’t run away, homeboy!”

The activist said she used her online social media accounts to interact with people she believed to be predators, who then told them she was actually a minor. If they agree to meet, he records the interaction and contacts the police.

Another video obtained by KTLA shows him chasing a man who claims he was trying to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex.

KTLA reported that many area residents recognized him during the interview and came to express their gratitude and support for “Black Biden.”
