ADA, SOL, XRP: Altcoins Trump Named For Crypto Reserve Lag BTC Ahead of White House Summit – CoinDesk

President Donald Trump is set to announce major changes in crypto policy at the White House Crypto Summit on Friday at U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, including plans for crypto strategic reserves. It is reportedly.

Bitcoin (BTC) is expected to receive special status, but Lutnick said other coins will also be considered positively.

However, it appears that the market is priced with minimal expectations of Altcoins, as evidenced by the lack of prices for XRP, SOL and ADA, coins identified as part of the reserves on Sunday.

The BTC bounced back to $91,000 to shorten Sunday's high of $95,000, brought by the Trump crypto sanctuary announcement to $91,000. However, XRP is trading at a 17% shortfall of $2.57, or Sunday's highest price of $3.02, according to Data Source TradingView. Cardano Ada and Solana Sol are 27% and 20% shorter than their respective highs on Sunday.

The delay in these tokens compared to BTC indicates that investors do not expect Trump to assign a key role in strategic reserves. Perhaps Trump's first mention of these tokens was bait to secure a BTC reserve, as he told Koindsk earlier this week.

Moreover, some observers believe that BTC-only reserves will also take longer.

“These two things — we want BSR, but the IMF is actively blocking the accumulation of sovereign BTC — at the same time, it's true. So, although we can continue the domestic political theatre around BSR (I support it because I need to start everything somewhere), the real signal to monitor is the IMF. Strategy in bitwise asset management, I said in x.

The park added that the crypto community needs to ease expectations in strategic reserves.
