The U.S. Coast Guard in Alaska said it had placed an aircraft that matched descriptions of the gnome-bound plane that went missing after taking off after 10 people boarded on Thursday.
The Coast Guard also reported that three deceased people had been found on the plane.

Previously, authorities said an air search conducted by the National Guard and Air Force C-130 Hercules plane “no sightings.”
