Aldi reveals big grocery price change — here’s how it will affect customers

Aldi is offering reassurance to customers as food prices rise.

Aldi, already known for its low prices, has announced it will be cutting prices on more than 250 products.

The store’s price cuts will ultimately save Americans an estimated $100 million by Labor Day.

“Aldi is always looking for ways to help customers save money, but with more experts warning of persistent inflation, we have lowered our already low prices for the second year in a row. The time has come for even deeper discounts,” said Dave Rinaldo, president of the company. aldi usa, stated in a statement.

Aldi’s cost savings will apply to seasonal products such as picnic essentials, barbecue essentials, travel snacks and healthy foods, according to a press release.

In addition, Aldi plans to add 800 stores across the United States over the next five years.

“We don’t want food prices to prevent people from gathering with friends and family or spending time outdoors this season,” Rinaldo added.
