Alec Baldwin, wife Hilaria ponder ‘ups and sad downs’ on 12th wedding anniversary ahead of his criminal trial

Emmy Award-winning actors Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary with a low-key celebration on Sunday as they prepare to go on trial next week on manslaughter charges.

Baldwin, 66, shared a series of photos from their wedding day on social media, including a recent selfie of the couple.

“I fell in love the moment I met you but marrying you has been a dream come true,” he wrote. “The good and the bad. The good and the bad. 7 kids (plus Ireland, Andre and Holland). 4 dogs. 4 cats.”

He added: “There have been some tough times for me but none of them are worth it. Happy wedding anniversary. You are my gift.”

“12 happy years of marriage, Alec… we’ve been through it all – not just the joys and sorrows that come with life, but also sideways, zigzags, great love and painful and obvious adversity,” she wrote.

Hilaria added, “I haven’t been on this page much lately, but I will be back. I want everyone reading this to know that I am so grateful to all of you for making this a supportive community. I hope you all feel that your kindness is a gift that we will cherish forever.”

Earlier this month, Alec Baldwin He announced that the family would be diving into the world of reality TV with their own show, tentatively titled “The Baldwins,” which would premiere in 2025 on TLC.

While the show, which offers an inside look into Baldwin’s home life, premieres a year from now, it remains to be seen whether cameras will be rolling when the award-winning actor goes on trial next month for manslaughter in the 2021 shooting death of “Lust” cinematographer Halina Hutchins.

According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer rejected the “30 Rock” actor’s new attempt to avoid charges that could have resulted in up to 18 months in prison.

Baldwin said, The death of Halina Hutchins. The cinematographer was killed on October 21, 2021, when a gun held by Baldwin discharged on the set of “Lust.”

His lawyers, The manslaughter charge was dropped. Meanwhile, the defense team completed their arguments at hearings on June 21st and 24th.

In a motion for expedited relief, the defense sought an order dismissing the indictment, arguing that the state breached its discovery obligations by failing to promptly disclose “material evidence” that would be considered favorable to Baldwin’s defense and “fundamentally alter how Baldwin prepares for trial.”

During a June 21 hearing, Judge Sommer also ruled that the state cannot compel “The Last” arms manufacturer Hannah Gutierrez Reed to testify at Baldwin’s upcoming trial, but testimony from Gutierrez Reed’s own roughly two-week trial will likely be used in the prosecution’s case against the actor.

Gutierrez Reed was convicted of manslaughter in March after a jury determined that the gun that fired live ammunition and killed Hutchins on the set of a Western movie could have been made by a gun manufacturer from “Lust.” Reed faces a maximum sentence of 18 years in prison and is currently appealing the sentence.

Gutierrez Reed was also acquitted. Tampering with evidence, She faced the charges in 2023 after investigators accused her of forging bags of cocaine on the day of the fatal shooting.

Jury selection is scheduled to begin July 9, with the trial set to continue through July 19. If convicted, Baldwin faces up to 18 months in prison.
