Missile Conflict Between Iran and Israel Intensifies
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that “all Israel is on fire” following an Iranian missile attack late Friday. This escalation comes after Israel carried out a “first strike” on Iran’s ground nuclear facility.
Iran has asserted it downed two Israeli aircraft within its airspace; however, Israeli officials have yet to verify this claim. Reports suggest that seven individuals suffered light to moderate injuries in Israel, while Iranian sources allege a strike hit the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv.
On the same evening, Iranian state media declared that its retaliatory actions against Israel had officially commenced. During the attack, Israeli forces were in a press conference, which had to be cut short due to the unfolding situation.
Currently, it appears that hundreds of ballistic missiles are available in Israel. Despite defenses in place, sources believe that between five and seven missiles managed to breach the Iron Dome system. Footage from Tel Aviv showed rockets approaching and smoke rising around the city’s skyline.
Witness accounts from Jerusalem described multiple significant explosions during the incidents. Iranian media portrayed this as merely the start of a forceful retaliation.
“Some time ago, the launch of hundreds of different ballistic missiles towards occupied territory has begun to operate as a decisive response to the Zionist regime’s savage attacks,” reported IRNA, the official news outlet in Iran.
The IDF confirmed that further missile strikes targeting Israel are in progress. They indicated that multiple additional missiles have already been launched.
“The attack is ongoing. Dozens of additional missiles have been launched at Israel,” the IDF commented.
This situation is developing. Please keep an eye out for updates.
