American Airlines said Monday that four flight attendants were injured during turbulence last week.
The airline told Fox News Digital that the crew member was on Flight 2905, which departed from Tampa International Airport in Florida to Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina on August 8.

American Airlines said the four flight attendants were taken to a local hospital for further examination but did not disclose the extent of their injuries.

“American Airlines Flight 2905 en route from Tampa (TPA) to Charlotte (CLT) encountered unexpected turbulence and landed safely at CLT,” an airline spokesperson said. Fox News Digital“We thank our crew for their professionalism and our customers for their understanding.”

The accident came the day before a Brazilian passenger jet crashed, killing all 62 people on board. The ATR72 twin-engine turboprop plane crashed into a residential area of the city of Vinhedo.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
