An American Airlines flight bound for New Hampshire was forced to make an emergency landing Wednesday after a disruptive passenger stripped naked and urinated in the aircraft’s aisle, authorities said.
A 25-year-old Oregon man was arrested and charged with indecent exposure after the plane returned to Buffalo Niagara International Airport after taking off from Buffalo.
He was released after his initial appearance in Buffalo federal court, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York.
American Airlines said in a statement that the flight was able to depart from Buffalo shortly after the accident.
“We thank our team members for their professionalism and our customers for their understanding,” the airline wrote.
