Tennessee Church has one of its members being lured at a South African muzzle; It’s being held For ransom. American missionary Josh Sullivan was lured at the muzzle on Thursday and then preached to a group of men who stole and stolen the truck. Sullivan’s Home Church is a Fellowship Baptist in Maryville, Tennessee. He is 45 years old.
“Brother Josh is one of us,” Fellowship Baptist Rev. Tom Hatley told church members Sunday, explaining that Sullivan has been part of the church since he was four years old.
Sullivan has been in South Africa for seven years.
“They’re going to all go to the ground,” Hatley said of Sullivan’s services. I was invited.
“We pray for his safety. We pray for a safe return.”
Sullivan and his wife, Megan, have two children.
“They want daddy and Megan wants her husband,” Hatley said.
On Sunday, Fellowship Baptist members walked in front of the church.where I kneel at Sullivan’s prayer.
Hatley preached Acts 12 – The story of Peter’s miraculous release from prison.
“Praying is that Peter was kicked out of his jail time, prayer gets Josh,” Hatley said. wvlt. “The people of Africa, people from other parts of the world, people here in eastern Tennessee, people from all over the country, and people from all over the world, we are gathering together. It was Pray to God at once. ”
Hatley said he saw Sullivan like a son.
“First and foremost, he is a Gospel preacher and we love him for that. We were 110% behind him before this happened.
Abele Humba, a spokesman for South African law enforcement, said police were looking for Sullivan and his adduct.
“The police are the current You can follow all possible leads to find the victim and arrest the perpetrator,” Humba said.
