Tucker Carlson has come under fire not only for his recent interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but also for praising Moscow at the recent World Government Summit.
“What was radical for me, very shocking, very disturbing was the city of Moscow,” Carlson told the audience, adding, “It was much more beautiful than any other city in my country.” .
“It’s much cleaner, safer, and more aesthetically beautiful than any other city in America, in terms of architecture, food, and service,” Carlson continued.
Critics have called Carlson’s comments “anti-American,” but Dave Rubin believes that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Dave Rubin adds, “There are other places on Earth that don’t have the problems that we have, and many of our problems seem to be self-inflicted.” Ta.
Rubin points out that these problems are easy to identify.
“You can also point to reasons why our cities are falling apart: Democratic leadership, progressive policies, the World Economic Forum, George Soros not actually following the law, criminals looting the streets, stores, etc. “It’s something you’re allowed to do,” he says.
Carlson’s comments are not anti-American, just the opposite. Rather, they look at where America is failing and where it can improve.
Rather than pretending America is the best country in the world to live in, Rubin said, by looking at our problems and actually trying to solve them, we can “understand the challenges we’re in. We believe the time has come to reverse the continued decline of our culture.
“They did the right thing,” Rubin added. “That doesn’t mean we’re giving in to President Putin.”
