Americans Underestimate Joe Biden’s Migrant Inflow

A September poll published by Skeptic.com found that Americans, especially pro-immigration liberals, severely underestimated the massive flow of immigrants into the United States.

On October 12, the group tweeted: “During the Biden-Harris Presidency, the most inaccurate figures regarding the number of migrants entering the US southern border were 'very liberal' Americans and 'liberal' Americans. “It was reported.''

“Conservative” and “very conservative” people had the best understanding of President Joe Biden's wave of immigration, but still underestimated the numbers, the group reported.

The site said the correct answer was 10 million immigrants, with fugitives counted at the southern border.

It estimates fewer than 1.8 million people are “very liberal.” “Very conservative” people estimated that 9 million immigrants would arrive.

But the site's estimate of 10 million arrivals appears to ignore the federal government's policy of admitting more than 1 million immigrants through a variety of legally contested loopholes and backdoors. . The government also hosts approximately 3 million legal immigrants and perhaps 3 million temporary workers.

Especially since the start of the 2024 presidential campaign, many illegal immigrants caught at the border have been sent home.

But Breitbart News estimates that Biden has taken in at least 10 million legal, illegal, semi-legal and temporary immigrants. This huge influx is leading to wage and salary suppression, rising housing costs, and reduced corporate investment in workplace productivity.

Several other polls detailed by Breitbart News show that the huge influx has led a clear majority of Americans to support deportation.

Notably, the large differences in responses between liberals and conservatives suggest that people adjust their poll responses to suit their political preferences, especially during political campaigns. There is. For example, if Democrats blame immigration for their November 2024 election loss, their poll responses could move much closer to conservatives'.

But the poll also asked Americans whether the federal government should deport illegal immigrants. Roughly half of respondents support deportation, including 33 percent of “very liberal” people and 87 percent of “very conservative” people.

The survey also found that support for immigration has declined significantly among liberals, independents and conservatives since Biden took office.

As 10 million immigrants impact Americans' neighborhoods, roads, workplaces, schools, and hospitals, support for reducing immigration rose from 39% to 50% in swing-voting independent blocs.
