Andrew and Tristan Tate are back in the United States after Romanian prosecutors agreed to lift travel restrictions imposed as part of a sex trafficking case.
The brothers denied the charges and are suing at least one of the accusers, a Florida woman who traveled to Romania for allegedly losing her reputation.
Tate is a social media influencer and follows over 10 million people. They described themselves as an entrepreneur, and 38-year-old Andrew Tate is a former kickboxer and MMA fighter.
Their homecoming comes afterwards Financial Times US officials have reported at least twice in recent days that they had expressed interest in the brothers' case to their Romanian counterparts.

Along with his 37-year-old brother, he is accused of luring women into sexually exploiting a woman in a 2022 case in which prosecutors suffered a major setback after a judge ruled there were too many issues to go to trial.
In the second criminal case, which opened in August 2024, they are also being investigated for alleged trafficking of a minor girl.
They are dual citizens of the US and the UK, but they live in Romania. Authorities warned that they still need to appear in court as the case progresses.

In the UK they are accused of failing to pay taxes, and Andrew Tate is expected to be handed over there on charges of sexual assault after the end of his Romanian incident.
They sued one of Florida's accusers and accused her of honor, and earlier this month submitted a countersuit called “a pornologist who earned her first million dollars from lying and deceiving women.”

“Jane Daw did the right thing by telling the truth about what he saw and experienced while in Romania in Romania,” her lawyer, Dani Pinter, said in a statement. “So Andrew and Tristan Tate have worked to ruin her life by suing her and her parents. Legal system abuse and blatant witness threats.”

In the brothers' 2023 lawsuit, they accused Doe of producing evidence against them. It also names her parents and two friends as defendants for their role in the phone call warning Doo to the US ambassadors officials in Romania Trafficking claims.
