Angelina Jolie Considers Moving Abroad

Angelina Jolie may be preparing to leave Hollywood behind. Having waited for her twins, Vivian and Knox, to grow up, she’s now looking at making an overseas move—a plan she’s pondered for quite some time.

Sources indicate that the ‘Eternals’ star prefers not to live in Los Angeles full-time. There were circumstances, particularly her custody deal with Brad Pitt, that made her situation tricky. Now, with her twins about to turn 18 on July 12, the timing feels right.

According to insiders, Jolie is eyeing multiple international locations and would find great happiness in leaving L.A. “When you have a large family, you want privacy, peace, and security,” she once expressed. And it seems her children are a driving force behind her decisions.

Jolie’s relationship with Cambodia is particularly significant; her first adopted child, Maddox, hails from there. She reflected on her experiences, mentioning how those moments helped her understand the plight of refugees and shaped her path as a mother.

In her words, “It allowed me to engage in diplomacy in a way I never had before.” She recalled her connection with Cambodia, saying, “In 2001, I was in the Samrut school program…and that day I thought, ‘My son is here.’” It’s a profound, almost mystical feeling—hard to put into words but incredibly real for her.

Adopting two more children—Zahara and Pax—during her time with Pitt, Jolie has incorporated family deeply into her narrative. Alongside her three biological children with Pitt (Shiloh, Vivian, and Knox), her journey reflects a blend of personal experiences and global perspectives.

Now, at age 50, she emphasizes that choosing to adopt wasn’t merely humanitarian. It was personal and meaningful. “I wanted to adopt because I knew there were children without parents. It’s a gift,” she remarked thoughtfully.

Ultimately, Jolie has developed a cosmopolitan worldview, and she voiced her feelings about the U.S. during a recent event in Spain. “I love my country, but I don’t recognize my country at this moment,” she stated, reflecting on the divided state of current affairs.

It’s clear Jolie’s life choices, from her home to her family dynamics, are deeply interwoven, and as she considers leaving the U.S., one can’t help but wonder where her journey will lead next.
