Another large migrant caravan has departed from southern Mexico with the goal of entering the United States before President-elect Donald J. Trump's inauguration on January 20th. The migrants are expected to head to Mexico City, then disperse and head to various U.S. border crossings.
Independent journalist Auden Cabello posted a video on social media on Wednesday of a large migrant caravan leaving Tapachula in Mexico's southern Chiapas state. Cabello said this is the sixth migrant caravan to leave the region since Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum took office earlier this year.
Mr. Cabello reported that five of the caravan departed from Tapachula and the sixth from Tuxtla Gutierrez.

“They have openly admitted that they are in a hurry before President Trump's inauguration,” Cabello wrote to X. “They gave up waiting for CBP One and left in a caravan in a last-minute move. They will try to get on the train and get to the border as quickly as possible.”

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials told Breitbart Texas this week that the Mexican government currently does not allow migrants to use trains to travel in groups from Mexico City to U.S. border areas. He says he doesn't admit it.
