Anti-Israel protesters have gathered outside the Democratic National Convention this week, with some calling on voters to reject Kamala Harris.
The anti-Israel rally reportedly took place at the intersection of Michigan and Wacker Avenues on Sunday afternoon, the first of many demonstrations to take place this week.
“WGN News Found One demonstration was organized by Outside Unjust Laws, a coalition of various feminist and pro-Palestinian groups, and the Palestinian issue will also be at the forefront on Monday, WGNTV reported.
Coalition spokesman Hatem Abdaye told reporters that “tens of thousands” of people would take to the streets.
“About 270 groups from across the country participated in the march at the Democratic National Convention,” Abudayah said. “Tens of thousands of people [of people] Starting at noon tomorrow, August 19th, we will be taking to the streets here in Union Park and demanding: Stop the genocide now, end US aid to Israel, and liberate Palestine.”
“We will fight for our rights and for the route until we leave at 2 p.m.,” Abdaye added.
Photos and videos of the protests began circulating on social media.
During a speech broadcast by Breitbart News on Facebook Live, a woman Condemned The Democrats failed to deliver on their promises.
“My frustration with the Democrats is they lie to us… every single time,” the woman said. “So why should we vote for Democrats? It’s not like they’re doing nothing for us. I’m tired of them lying to us. Every single time.”
