Antonio Brown Faces Arrest Warrant for Attempted Murder
Former NFL player Antonio Brown is reportedly facing an arrest warrant for attempted murder linked to an incident outside a boxing event in Miami back in May.
Interestingly, Brown has chosen not to remain silent about it. Following the news of the warrant breaking, he took to social media, sharing a mix of posts that seemed to convey defiance and a hint of confusion.
In one of his first posts after the warrant news surfaced, he shared a video of himself riding a bike, using the hashtag “Love.” Shortly after, he posted a photo of another individual and added the caption, “This cracker wasn’t me.” His latest update includes the message, “What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger. Do you want to play? Then play hard.”
According to the Miami-Dade County warrant, Brown is accused of attempted gun murder, and has been issued a $10,000 bond, with conditions that require him to remain under house arrest while awaiting trial.
The incident itself occurred outside a boxing event in the Little Haiti area of Miami on May 16. Reports have indicated that Brown was involved in the altercation, with videos circulating on social media showing a brawl in a parking lot, followed by gunfire that sent attendees scrambling.
A police spokesperson previously noted that officers received reports of a gunshot fired around 3 a.m. on May 17, following the incident.
