Armed mom allegedly threatens lesbian teacher over Pride flag: ‘Say ur prayers and kiss ur kids goodbye and goodnight’

Indiana mom faces accusations allegedly sent A threatening message To the teacher after going to campus and complaining about lessons to her daughter, including her Pride Flag.

According to Indiana State Police, 48-year-old Carrie Rivers was angry that teachers used the flag of pride with the word “kind” while teaching children about the flag.

She adds, “God will condemn you in hell,” and she calls the teacher “child predators.”

Rivers angered at a sixth grade teacher at Valley Mills Elementary School in Indianapolis over lessons on Wednesday, accusing her of trying to instruct her daughter to embrace LGBTQ relationships.

The Decatur Township School Police Department said they were called to primary school about “an angry parents” and when they arrived they noticed the river was armed.

“Carrie Rivers said I had a gun while I was removing it from my person,” according to response officer Tabeta Emmenaker. “I advised Carrie Rivers about the law regarding having a firearm on the school grounds and that it is an arrestable crime. She understood and stated that she hadn’t noticed that she had it because she was used to wearing it and was previously on the school property.”

Police let Rivers go after she said she was trying to homeschool her daughter. According to the affidavit, Rivers also mentioned the lesbian teacher by Slur.

Rivers is said to have since sent a threatening message to his teacher. She first used the school messaging app, where she was blocked, then moved to Facebook to send more messages, according to WTHR-TV.

In a suspicion of the message to the teacher, Mom said, “Say your prayers, say goodbye to the children, good night, prepare yourself, as you never know when God says our time.”

She added, “God will condemn you in hell,” and she called the teacher “child predators.”

The teacher said the child was allowed to skip the assignment. Rivers’ husband said his wife frequently has a gun for security and that she simply forgot to carry it. He told NBC News that other parents often carry guns without any problems when they drop their children to school.

The district has issued a statement regarding the incident.

“There was no threat to students or staff back then. Police suspected that their parents had escorted her from the building, suspecting that they owned a handgun hidden in her person. At that point, they owned weapons from their parents outside the school.

They went on to say that the river is no longer permitted on the school grounds.

“After the incident, parents sent harassment and threatening messages to their child’s teachers brought us attention,” the district said. “A warrant has been filed for her arrest and she is not permitted on Decatur Township School’s property.”

Rivers was charged with harassment and possession of a firearm against school property.
