Beetsch declined to say how much cash was stolen.

According to police, when the recovery vehicle stopped at the laundromat to pick up the safe, it may have already been picked up at another location.

Police said a small white van was parked next to the truck, and three armed suspects got out, one of them hitting a security guard in the head and stealing his firearm.
