Astronauts Stranded by Boeing and Biden Express Gratitude to Elon Musk and President Trump

In a viral video shared by both President Donald Trump and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore thanked President Trump and Musk for bringing their support as Boeing and Joe Biden were rescued by the SpaceX mission after being left behind on the International Space Station (ISS).

SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently posted a video on his X platform. The 25-second clip has accumulated over 41.8 million views and 341,000 likes, with a captioned “Thanks to Astronaut Strandnatha to Elon Musk and Trump,” and has also made many other vidoe posts viral.

President Trump's video posting on his true social platform has also been circulating through word of mouth with around 1,000 comments and 22,500 likes at the time of this writing.

In the video, Sunita Williams said, “We're coming back soon, so don't plan those without me. We'll be back soon,” her crew member Butch Willmore added: We are grateful to them, we are grateful for everything they do for us, for our country, for our human spaceflight and for the position they are in. ”

The video comes after all the claims made by Donald Trump and Elon Musk in an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity. They claimed that NASA astronauts have been “abandoned” on the ISS for “political reasons” by the previous Biden administration. The duo insisted that the previous administration “should leave them in space.”

In an interview, Musk said SpaceX accelerated the process to reclaim astronauts at the president's request. He expressed confidence in SpaceX's mission to bring Sunita Williams and Butch Willmore back to safety, saying, “Well, we don't want to be satisfied, but we brought astronauts back from the space station many times and were always successful.”

Williams and Wilmore embarked on a 10-day mission to the ISS on June 5th, before being left behind by Boeing's miserable hardware. After spending nearly nine months in space, they are scheduled to return to Earth on March 19 with NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Russian astronaut Aleksandr Gorbunov. The replacement crew will be responsible for the ISS while the return astronauts depart.

The successful return of Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore marks another milestone for SpaceX and collaboration with NASA. The company has been committed to providing reliable transport with the ISS and ensuring the continuity of human space flight missions.
