The two suspects, wearing the company's signature blue jackets emblazoned with the Amazon logo and carrying cardboard boxes, knocked on the man's front door around 8 a.m.
They reportedly continued to attack him with the weapon for nearly eight minutes. As first reported by WTOC.
Security camera footage shared by Savannah Police on its website shows two assailants wearing ski masks that cover their faces slowly approaching the man's door in the 500 block of Price Street. . The victim can then be heard screaming for help.

Neighbors arrived a short time later and found a 66-year-old man suffering from multiple head wounds. The victim received 14 stitches and continues to recover from the surprise attack, WTOC said.

After the attack, the suspects fled the scene with $80 stolen from the victim, the report said.

An Amazon spokesperson told Fox News Digital that based on the company's internal investigation, they can confirm that the person seen in the video was not making regular Amazon deliveries.
The spokesperson added that Amazon regularly monitors unauthorized Amazon clothing products on the internet and requests the removal of such items when possible. People making deliveries on Amazon's behalf do not routinely knock on doors or ask customers to sign for packages unless they have been arranged in advance, a spokesperson said.

Savannah Police are actively investigating this attack and are looking for the two suspects.
“If you happened to see two individuals dressed as Amazon employees in the area at the time of the incident, please contact SPD,” SPD said in a statement on Facebook. “Contact us through CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020 or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.”
