Authorities Take Influencer ‘Clavicular’ Into Custody on Same Day as Viral Alligator Shooting Video in Florida

Florida Police Arrest Influencer Over Misdemeanor Charge

On the night of March 26, Florida police apprehended an influencer known as “Looksmaxxing” streamer Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, on a misdemeanor charge linked to a warrant from Osceola County.

The 20-year-old was taken into custody in Fort Lauderdale, with bail set at $1,000. This arrest happened on the same day Peters and his friends were filmed shooting a crocodile while exclaiming, “Hey, I think it’s dead,” according to footage shared by TMZ.

TMZ reported that during a popular live stream he hosted that Thursday night, the feed unexpectedly shut off. When it resumed, Peters was no longer on camera. A friend later appeared to announce the abrupt end of their intended 30-day streaming marathon.

A video showcasing Peters on an airboat with friends went viral as news of his arrest spread. In the clip, the group appeared to encounter an alligator in the waters of the Florida Everglades, prompting them to draw their weapons and shoot the animal. The alligator seemed dead when they found it, but this did not stop the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) from investigating the event.

The FWC’s statement on March 26 noted they were “aware of a video depicting people appearing to fire firearms at alligators aboard an airboat in the Everglades.” They added officials were actively investigating the incident and would share more details as they became available. They also encouraged the public to report wildlife violations through the Wildlife Alert Hotline.

Details surrounding the misdemeanor battery charge against Peters were not disclosed.
