President Donald Trump showed up to his inauguration day with many new supporters, especially the tech community.
Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos were all in attendance to support the 47th president, marking a stark difference from previous inauguration ceremonies.
While many Trump supporters are skeptical of his new allies, Liz Wheeler of “The Liz Wheeler Show” says we not only show them grace, but also believe that this will lead to a much better path for America. I believe that we should embrace the idea of bringing.
“Bezos and Zuckerberg aren't even Republicans,” Wheeler commented. “The important thing here is not to be too cynical. We cannot become so cynical and skeptical that we become reluctant to build new coalitions.”
Zuckerberg has faced criticism for allowing sensitive information on Facebook to be censored under government pressure during the 2020 election and in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. But Mr. Wheeler isn't going to quibble over that.
“I have previously argued that his censorship regime at Facebook and his Operation Zuckerback campaign, particularly in Wisconsin, had a significant impact on the outcome of the 2020 election. I think it's a terrible thing. I think it's a bad thing, but he seems to have changed his mind about it,” she says. .
“He seems to be seeing some light,” she continues. “We shouldn't ridicule them for all the topics that they haven't seen the light of yet. We should invite them and say, 'Come here, come with us, stand together. Please.”
“As long as we don't sacrifice our principles and values, we won't compromise with them. As long as they move to the right, we won't be able to say, 'Yeah,' because they're still completely You don't have to be here.'' Become a part of our club and come with us. “That's the message President Trump is sending,” she added.
