Biden, 81, Delivers Gaffe-Ridden Press Conference with Kenyan President

President Joe Biden appeared to struggle to get his point across cogently during a news conference with Kenyan President William Ruto on Thursday, raising concerns about his fitness to serve as president.

The awkward press conference was the latest in a series of public events where Biden has struggled to speak gaffe-free. Biden’s aides corrected nine gaffes in a recording of the speech he delivered on Sunday.

Biden has opted out of wearing traditional dress shoes with his suit; instead, he wears athletic shoes specially made to help with walking, a typical clothing change for older adults.

Polls show Americans have doubts about Biden’s leadership skills.
