President Joe Biden now claims he underwent a medical check-up after the debate.
During an hour-long meeting with Democratic governors late Wednesday, one governor asked about Biden’s health. According to PoliticoBiden reportedly responded by saying he knew he was in good health after undergoing a medical check-up after the debate. According to Politico, Biden also once knocked on wood “for effect.”

That’s because just hours before Biden was due to meet with Democratic governors, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters that Biden had not been examined by a doctor.

“We had the opportunity to discuss it with his doctor and the answer was ‘no,'” Jean-Pierre responded.
