President Joe Biden decided on Thursday to threaten to lose support for Israel. Israel had mobilized its reserves to prepare for a possible attack on Iran, and Iran was preparing for Al-Quds Day, an annual festival of anti-Israel hatred.
As Breitbart News reported, Biden called for an “immediate ceasefire” in a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, effectively adopting the position of Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organization that started the war.
But Prime Minister Netanyahu did not respond to Biden. Instead, he focused on the possibility of an immediate threat from Iran, possibly through one of Iran’s proxies. “We will attack anyone who attacks us or prepares to attack us,” he told the Cabinet.

Iran has threatened to counter an Israeli airstrike that killed two Iranian generals in Damascus, Syria, earlier in the week. Iran arms, funds, and advises terrorist organizations attacking Israel.
Meanwhile, Iran continues to prepare for Al-Quds Day. Al-Quds Day is an annual anti-Israel hatred demonstration, held by Iran and its proxies around the world in bloodthirsty demonstrations on the last Friday of Ramadan.
Biden’s rebuke to Israel comes at a time when Iran is trying to isolate Israel and threatening escalation against the Israeli people, despite his apology on Tuesday for the careless killing of seven aid workers. It was done in that moment.
