Biden has authorized Ukraine to use long-range missiles inside Russia: Reports

President Biden has authorized Ukraine to use U.S.-provided missiles to further attack Russia, according to multiple reports.

The move comes as around 10,000 North Korean troops are supporting Russia's war effort and fighting is expected to take place in Ukraine “in the coming weeks.”

The move comes after President-elect Trump claimed he would win the presidential election and end the Russia-Ukraine war in one day, raising questions about whether the Trump administration would support Ukraine as much as the Biden administration. It's also something like that. Associated Press reported.

Officials and people familiar with the matter spoke to The Associated Press about Biden's confirmation but spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the decision publicly.

In an evening speech, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he was “deeply grateful” to all partner countries that support his country with “air defense systems and missiles.”

“This is truly a global effort. Every time Russia carries out an attack like this, we need to ensure that our partners do not leave Patriot and other systems sitting in storage, they know how to protect lives and urgently need them. It highlights how important it is to provide a system.” He wrote to X.

Russia has launched drone and missile attacks against Ukraine in what is believed to be the largest barrage of attacks in months, officials said.
