Biden pays tribute to New Orleans terror attack victims at makeshift shrine on Bourbon Street

President Biden and his wife, Jill, laid flowers Monday at a makeshift shrine on Bourbon Street in New Orleans in response to the terrorist attack that killed 14 pedestrians on New Year's Day.

Biden, 82, paid tribute to the victims ahead of an evening interfaith service at St. Louis Cathedral, near the site of the French Quarter massacre.

The president's visit comes five days after the horrific truck rampage by Islamic State-inspired veteran Shamsuddin Jabar.

Jabbar, 42, evaded a police barricade and mowed down the victim shortly after 3am before being shot dead by police.
