President Joe Biden is seeking to further squeeze Russia, continuing to press the United States for more aid to Ukraine.
“Today, I am announcing a 500-pound attack on Russia for its ongoing war of conquest of Ukraine and the death of Alexei Navalny, a courageous anti-corruption activist and leader of President Putin’s fiercest opposition,” Biden said. The president is asking the House of Representatives to approve measures that include further aid to Ukraine, a country facing conflict.
