In a post shared to Biden’s official presidential account X (formerly Twitter), Biden and the 72-year-old science fiction actor shared a Star Wars-themed cheer with the president’s supporters.
The president was recorded saying in the Oval Office, “May the fourth be with you,” a reference to the series’ famous phrase, “May the force be with you.”

In the caption, clipBiden’s team added another reference to the popular science fiction series, writing, “We had a very good feeling about this. May the 4th be with you, America.”
Hamill’s appearance in Biden’s video probably came as no surprise to those watching Friday’s White House press conference. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre led Hamill outside to briefly greet reporters and praise the current president’s legislative successes.
