Hells Angels Member Sentenced for Child Pornography Charges

A 42-year-old affiliated with the Hells Angels motorcycle gang has been sentenced following a guilty plea to multiple charges concerning child pornography, according to the Fontana Police Department.

The investigation into Ryan Van De Car began on November 16, 2023, led by the Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.

As part of his sentence, he will be on federal probation for life and is barred from associating with any members of the Hells Angels.

The FBI undertook an undercover operation, discovering that Van De Car was using various online chat and social media platforms to acquire illicit images and videos involving minors.

Law enforcement subsequently seized and scrutinized several electronic devices, revealing evidence that he was using social media to exploit underage victims and to obtain and distribute abusive material related to child sexual exploitation.

Prosecutors stated that he produced and distributed “adapted child pornography and obscene representations of child sexual abuse.”

Investigators tracked Van De Car’s accounts on Kik, which included usernames like “littlelove14369,” “familylustfun,” and “Ryan Nice.” In April 2025, he was indicted by a federal grand jury in California on charges of distributing child pornography, possessing child pornography, and producing adapted child pornography.

In September, the court sentenced him to over 11 years in prison. Upon his release, he remains under federal probation for life and is prohibited from engaging with any members of the Hells Angels.

The Fontana Police Department acknowledged the collaborative efforts of various law enforcement agencies, forensic experts, investigators, and prosecutors in successfully prosecuting this case.

The Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, by the way, originated in 1948 in Fontana.
