Tucson, Arizona: New Developments in Nancy Guthrie Case

Recently released FBI footage related to the search for Nancy Guthrie is being described as containing significant information that could help identify a masked individual seen in the video. According to a body language expert, this footage offers various clues regarding the suspect’s physical traits and behavior, even while masked.

Susan Constantine, who analyzed the newly surfaced images, mentioned to Fox News Digital that certain behavioral aspects stand out distinctly. She pointed out that the individual’s jawline appeared swollen, which might suggest facial hair hidden beneath the mask. Additionally, the shape of the individual’s head and the absence of visible hair may imply that the person is bald.

Constantine also observed that the backpack the subject carried seemed quite full, a detail she deemed worth noting when assessing the person’s preparedness.

From a behavioral perspective, she indicated that the situation depicted in the footage doesn’t seem to align with a typical robbery attempt. Often, robberies involve multiple individuals assigned specific roles, while previous images shared by the FBI show only one person. She mentioned, however, that the authorities have yet to identify a motive or clarify this individual’s involvement.

Despite the mask, Constantine stated that the footage reveals several identifiable characteristics, such as “his eyes, his body structure, his proportions, the way he walks.” All these factors can assist in identification.

She described the subject as appearing physically fit, likely possessing brown eyes and well-maintained facial hair, along with what she referred to as olive skin.

This new footage was made public by FBI Director Kash Patel as the search for Guthrie reached its tenth day. Patel revealed that investigators employed residual data from backend systems to piece together the lost or inaccessible video after the recording equipment in Guthrie’s home was either removed or became unavailable.

Patel stated that recent discoveries indicate an armed person tampering with a camera at Guthrie’s front door on the morning she vanished. Constantine expressed that this moment must have been extremely frightening, particularly for an 84-year-old woman confronting someone like that.

She also highlighted the importance of making the footage public in hopes of generating new leads. “Someone will notice something,” she noted, suggesting that details like clothing, gloves, and backpacks could play pivotal roles in making connections.

The FBI has urged anyone with information related to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance to contact 1-800-CALL-FBI.
