Police said Tuesday that the woman accused of murdering a Telemund reporter might work with her accomplice to plan her “fatal plot” and seduce him to a hotel near New Orleans.

27-year-old Adan Manzano Telemund Reporters covering the Super Bowl are allegedly killed by “serial con man” Danette Colbert, who was tricked into a hotel room in Kenner, Louisiana.
Colbert is currently charged with second-degree murder by the Kenner Police Department, and Ricky White, who was described as “temporary” by police, has been taken into custody on suspicion of “holding hands” with Colbert, stealing the reporter's identity and using his credit card in New Orleans.
After security camera evidence showed she was entering the comfort in suite with Manzano, she left alone on the day he was found dead, reentered and departed again.
Her suspicious accomplice was arrested Friday by police in Hollywood, Florida. He is now waiting for a handover from Fort Lauderdale.
The exact cause of Manzano's death is not established, but police reported that toxicological analysis revealed a significant amount of benzodiazepines, also known as Xanax, in Manzano's system. Fatal “blackout cocktails” can occur when heavy Xanax uses are combined with heavy alcohol, according to the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Additionally, Jefferson Parish Coroner Jerry Kvitanovic told reporters he discovered Manzano was lowered onto his pillow.
Police also allege Colbert and White quickly charged Manzano's credit cards at various facilities in New Orleans.
“I found communications and information [Colbert and White] I was going back and forth. Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley told reporters.
Colbert is known as the “Bourbon Street Hustler” because of its long history of thieves and fraud.
“She's a career criminal. Colbert has a considerable record and rap sheet for her confident gaming, access device fraud and robbery plot,” Conley told reporters after her arrest last month.
