There was a lot of commotion in the Giants' locker room after Sunday's win over the Seahawks, but head coach Brian Daboll said receiver Wan'Dale Robinson was giving his Instagram followers a peek inside what was going on. He didn't seem too excited.
The third-year receiver was arrested by the Giants' head coach while live streaming on Instagram and was immediately shut down from Instagram in a funny moment that has since gone viral on social media.
A short clip posted to X showed Robinson and many of his Giants teammates celebrating Big Blue's second win of the season against the Seahawks.
Robinson was seen dancing and singing when Daboll appeared behind him and quickly realized what the receiver was doing.
“Hey! Stop posting things like that,” Daboll was heard saying.
“Oh, no,” Robinson replied.
He then quickly put down the camera and began shutting down the live video.
Robinson finished the Week 5 contest with six catches for 36 yards and one touchdown reception.
The receiver caught a 7-yard pass from QB Daniel Jones in the second quarter, tying the game at 7 yards.
The Giants won a hard-fought game thanks to Bryce Ford-Wheaton returning a blocked field goal attempt in the fourth quarter for a touchdown.
“I thought [special teams coach Michael Ghobrial] We did a great job of setting up the rush.” Daboll said of the blocked field goal. “If you make a call at the right time, [Isaiah Simmons] What is he doing over there before rehearsal for the play begins? he was ready to go. We have Dexter. [Lawrence] It's there. A well executed play in a critical situation. ”
The Giants return to the Meadowlands next weekend to take on the Bengals in Week 6.
