Brittany Aldean, Candace Cameron Bure, other celebrities post on social media after Trump’s inauguration

Celebrities took to social media to celebrate Donald Trump's inauguration as the 47th president of the United States on Monday.

“Happy Inauguration!!! God Bless America,” he captioned several photos of the President and First Lady, Vice President Vance and First Lady Usha, and a video of Carrie Underwood's performance.

Bure also praised President Trump and Vice President Vance on her Instagram Story, saying it was an “exciting day.”

Actor Dean Cain shared a photo of himself in Washington DC on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “What a day!!”

Jason Aldean's wife, Brittany Aldean, shared an old photo of Trump on her Instagram Story Monday morning with the word “Today” written on it. Jason is preparing to perform at the Liberty Bowl on Monday night.

Brittany shares a photo With my husband before Monday night's big show.

“Inauguration night,” she began the caption. “It's been a really great ride. I think it was worth all the scrutiny today. I wouldn't change a thing.”

Actor James Woods wrote to Mr. X on Monday: “I'm in tears. God bless America and President Trump.”

Not all of Hollywood was celebrating Trump's return to the Oval Office. Jamie Lee Curtis posted on Instagram Early Monday morning, she shared a photo embroidered with a pie chart and the message, “Today you may not use the word f–k in your sentences.” The options were “none” and “none but yellow.”

The caption read, “In case you need this today. Get it out and then get to work. Lots of work to do. xo.”

She also shared a photo on her Instagram Story with a message about Inauguration Day by Lorin Brandts.

“In times of hate, love is an act of resistance. In times of fear, faith is an act of resistance. In times of misinformation, education is an act of resistance. The former “Jeopardy! Host Mayim Bialik shared her thoughts on President Trump's inauguration on Instagram on Monday.

“Yes, I watched the inauguration. There are so many things I want to say, but I can't. For now, what am I doing?

Early Monday morning, Underwood performed “America the Beautiful” at this year's 60th presidential inauguration ceremony held inside the Capitol Rotunda.

The country music star was forced to improvise after the music cue didn't start.

Underwood, who was positioned in front of former President Biden, quickly realized that the accompanying instrumental track wasn't working and had to improvise.

“If you know the words, please help me here,” she prefaces before singing a cappella. After her performance, she applauded those singing with her in front of her, then turned around and shook Biden's hand.

She then shared time with Trump and J.D. vance before leaving the room.

Mr. Underwood, who has distanced himself from the political stage, confirmed last week that he will continue to do so. Perform at President Trump's inauguration.

“I love this country and am honored to be asked to sing at the inauguration and be a small part of this historic event,” the country's superstar said in a statement.
