Bronx residents voiced their support for former President Donald Trump ahead of his rally Thursday night, noting that “people need to know” that the president cares about them.

The man continued: “What happens when poverty rises and a lot of people who come here have more to gain than the people who were here before?”
“Donald Trump is the best!” said another man at Thursday’s rally when asked why he wanted to meet Trump. “Everyone wants to meet Donald Trump. Donald Trump is the best.”
A day after Trump’s campaign announced a rally in the Bronx, supporters of the former president held a rally in the area to show their support ahead of Trump’s visit.
