Jaguar has been slammed on social media for a hyper-woke commercial featuring androgynous models and no cars, with conservatives dubbing it “Bud Light 2.0.”
A Jaguar commercial posted on the car company's social media on Tuesday showed only androgynous people in bizarre outfits that would hardly fit a fashion show. The advertisement also failed to feature any cars from luxury car companies.

The Jaguar ad also featured what appeared to be a man wearing a dress and contained messages such as “Create Vibrance,'' “Live Vibrant,'' “Eliminate the Ordinary'' and “Break the Mold.''
One social media user responded to the commercial, declaring: [years] ago: The Jag is a badass muscle car for villains. Today: Yas Queen, gay races, and communism. ”
“This is really the wrong timing. I understand why executives would get caught up in this issue in 2022, but they completely misread the timing. Bud Light 2.0,” wrote columnist Jon Gabriel. .
Gabriel was likely referring to President-elect Donald Trump's landslide victory in the 2024 election (including his victory in the popular vote), which many are calling an era of “wokeness.” I took it as a message from the American people that this needs to end.
“This is Jaguar's new head of brand strategy. Not good at all,” said another X user.
“Hello @Jaguar. We fixed your terrible ad. It took us 2 minutes,” one person commented, while another shared a photo of a beautiful female model standing next to the car.
“You guys should go all in on this new marketing strategy. Let's see what happens, because I just wanted to sell a Jaguar and I don't even own a Jaguar,” said Robbie. Starbuck said jokingly.
“Fire whoever the ad agency is.” Brandon Morse, Red State Senior Editor advisedadded, “This is different.”
“Car advertising without a car. Hmm.” PR consultant Jeff Barrett pointed outshare GIFs of movie characters Dodgeball.
Elon Musk agrees, ask Jaguar: “Do you sell cars?”
“Yes,” the car company replied. “I'd love to show you. Would you like to have a drink in Miami on December 2nd?”
Musk: “Looking forward to seeing the new vehicle lineup'' answered.
jaguar announced A press release on Monday said: “Today marks the start of a new era for Jaguar. A completely transformed Jaguar brand, whose roots can be traced back to the words of founder Sir William Lyons, is committed to a never-copy ethos. I got it back.”
The luxury car company announced at Miami Art Week on December 2nd, “Jaguar unveils “Copy Nothing,'' the new brand's first global public installation, which physically expresses the modernist creative philosophy that overflows in its design vision concept. I will,” he explained. ”
“This dramatic and undeniably unexpected expression of what it means to never copy anything portends the fearless approach Jaguar will bring,” the company continued. .
“Jaguar's presence in Miami will establish a championing of artistic expression in all its forms,” Jagger added. “Through a series of meticulously curated gallery spaces across two locations, Jaguar will share its platform with new and innovative up-and-coming artists who share the Copy Nothing ethos.”
