Caitlyn Jenner, a former Olympic gold medalist and now a prominent transgender conservative figure, finds herself stuck in Israel following missile strikes that erupted from Iran on Thursday night.
Jenner had traveled to Israel to participate in the Prideman Parade in Tel Aviv, which was set for Friday.
In support of Israel, she has posted numerous updates on social media, sharing the city’s current chaotic situation.
On Friday evening, she detailed her experience from a bomb shelter in Tel Aviv amid Iran’s missile counterattack. “We’re back at our Tel Aviv shelter; it seems like a third wave of attacks from Iran,” she noted in a post.
Earlier that day, Jenner had shared a photo from the Western Wall in Jerusalem, adorned with Israeli and American flag emojis.
Later posts also featured images of missiles soaring through Tel Aviv’s skyline during the Iranian retaliation.
An Israeli man, Regev Gur, captured a moment showing Jenner sipping wine in the bomb shelter, humorously stating, “What were you doing with the alarm? I’m drinking wine with Caitlyn.”
Iran’s missile strikes on Friday night targeted multiple cities in Israel, resulting in significant damage and injuries to several individuals.
Fox News Chief Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst provided live updates, highlighting severe destruction in a neighborhood near Israeli military headquarters. He noted that emergency crews were diligently searching through damaged buildings for anyone who might still be trapped.
Describing the aftermath, Yingst reported that one floor was heavily flooded while another was completely destroyed. A woman named Noya, who was inside during the blast, described it as extremely powerful, shaking the entire structure and causing injuries while leaving parts burned and soaked.
According to Magen David Adom, the emergency response organization, 34 people were injured in the attack, including a woman in her 60s who suffered serious injuries. Others incurred moderate to minor injuries from debris, while several received treatment for anxiety; all were taken to the hospital.
