California dad allegedly finds home invader attacking his 2 children and beats him so badly, he was carried out on a stretcher

My father lives in Northern California. Hailed as a hero A violent intruder has been admitted to intensive care after allegedly attacking a homeowner’s children.

Bobby Tucker told KXTV-TV he discovered the intruder at his Citrus Heights home Thursday around 5:30 p.m.

“I’ll admit I was a bit confused for a while and I probably scared the kids too.”

“He attacked my 14-year-old son from behind, jumped on him, choked him and threw him to the ground, then he attacked my 11-year-old son,” Tucker said.

Tucker, who works as a security guard, said he heard the man screaming and growling.

“My mind was completely clear. I didn’t think about anything, I just wanted to get the guy away from my son. I’ll admit I went blank for a moment and I probably scared my kids too. I heard them punching the guy, punching him, telling someone to call 911,” he continued.

Citrus Heights police said they took the man into custody and he will be charged with theft and assault.

“He was unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics were trying to wake him up and get him responsive but he was unconscious,” Tucker added.

Tucker posted two photos, one of the man before he entered the home and one of him being carried out on a stretcher.

The father said the door was unlocked because the children had just gone out to take out the trash.

“He picked the wrong house to cause trouble,” Tucked added.

He also said homeowners should be prepared to protect themselves and their families from intruders.

“Make sure you have something in your home to protect yourself, whether that’s a baton or a gun, whatever it is, make sure you have something to protect yourself,” Tucker continued. “Keep your doors locked, make sure you have an alarm system, make sure you have something with a camera outside.”

He said he is seeking therapy for his children because the horrific incident has shattered their sense of security.
