California fires ‘burned down’ Chris Pratt’s ex’s home, son’s school ‘gone’

After the Los Angeles fires reduced more than 12,000 homes and businesses to ashes, Chris Pratt shared an update on how the Los Angeles fires have affected his family.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star said on social media that he was going to “survey” his home and town, having not been back since the fires started.

“Miraculously, it's still standing. By the grace of God, we have four walls and one roof,” Pratt said during what he called a “tough few weeks.” He spoke while leaning in.

“You know, this is really devastating,” Pratt added.

The 45-year-old actor went on to say that the “silver lining” amidst the tragic fire was that while his home was saved, “so many people's homes were burnt down” in his area.

“The community is gone, my son's school is gone, his mother's house burned down,” he said, referring to the home of the former Anna Faris.

“It's just wild, but we're resilient…We trust God and consider everything a blessing.”

Pratt said he would continue to provide updates and ended the video by saying, “It's inspiring to see how our community has come together.”

In an Instagram caption, the actor wrote, “Praying for LA and everyone affected. We will get through this together. God bless you.”

TV host calls Los Angeles fires a 'disaster' and says elected officials didn't do enough

The Hughes Fire broke out in Castaic Wednesday afternoon and was 0% contained, burning nearly 9,300 acres, according to Cal Fire.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said more than 50,000 people had been evacuated from the area due to the fast-moving blaze, even as 4,000 firefighters battled the inferno.

Meanwhile, Southern California firefighters yesterday continued to battle the Palisades and Eaton fires, which have killed at least 28 people and destroyed more than 14,000 structures since they began on January 7. Destroyed. The Palisades Fire is 68% contained, and the Eaton Fire is extinguished. It was 91%.

Shortly after the fire first broke out, photos showed Faris' multimillion-dollar Pacific Palisades mansion charred and completely destroyed.

“Anna and her family are safe and we are very grateful,” a representative for the actress told Fox News Digital at the time.

Pratt and Faris have a 12-year-old son, Jack. Pratt is currently married to Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter Katherine. The two married in 2019 and have three children.
